Sebnem Ugural is an artist and photographer. She studied political science and moved to the UK for her MA in Human Rights. Pinhole photography tempted her couple of years ago. She mostly takes self-portraits with her home made pinhole cameras. Her work was featured in the Telegraph, Independent and local newspapers. She joined various group exhibitions. In 2014, she ran pinhole photography courses for socially disadvantaged children, and BBC Children in Need funded this project. She looks for the opportunities of working with socially disadvantaged people. She is currently an artist in residency at the Double Negative Darkroom, and occasionally runs pinhole workshops.
